Death flyers (1907-1910)-

The death flyers were origionally created by the Queen of Shadows to do her bidding, as explained in the death flyers section on the first background and history page. Then as they became smarter they decided to rebel against the queen in what became one of the most famous rebellions of the realms. It all started with a death flyer by the name of Aldarna, she was the Queens favorite, but she was also a role model and protecter of her kind. Seeing that they were in trouble, starving, beatin and abused beyond reason she created the destroyers of shadows. The destroyers of shadows was a group of about a hundred strong death flyers who were willing to give up their lives for their kind, on June 18, 1907 the destroyers of shadows came together and stormed the queen of shadows castle demanding that their kind be let free. When she refused Aldarna attempted to stab her, the Queen of shadows killed her, many more Death flyers were killed in the storming of the castle leaving only 19 remaning members of the destroyers of shadows. The remaning members under the rule of Zay (Aldarna's mate) formed together a newer, bigger rebellion group called Aldarna's followers. Aldarna's followers consited of 1800 death flyers, who focused not on one big fight, but many small battles, never facing the Queen herself. finally in november of 1910, after many more death flyers had joined Aldarna's followers, a group that now consisted of over 3 thousand members, met together and faced the queen of shadows once more, making the same demands, that they be let free, or they would kill her. This time, the queen obeyed, with one condition, the death flyers were to leave the realms and live in the human world as horses, never to return to the realms, or the Queen. Now death flyers live among the humans it took a while for them to loose their horns and wings (which is where the idea of pegasus and unicorns came from) but now they live peacefully, never forgetting the great death flyer rebellion. Occasionally a death flyer will say "praise Aldarna" or something like that, showing just what an impact the rebellion had on that kind.

Golden Rebellion (the battle between light and dark) [2005-    ]

The books are centered around the Golden Rebellion, or the battle between light and dark, as it is more common known...basically the name of the series. The Golden Rebellion begins in 2005, with Anica, Kylia and Jake. With the help of anicas trainer malorie they soon find their purpose, they are to take the Queen of Shadows out of power and destroy her, bringing back the ways of the realmesses, the old traditions, and basically the golden age. Its their job to convince the many inhabitants of the realms to help them rebel against the queen and her armies.

The golden age was when the Realmesses ruled the realms. when the power was divided equally and everything was fair. The power was held by the royal court, a group of one queen, one king, three princesses and one prince. Zander explains this time using the garden of eden as an example, the golden age being before they ate the apple, before the evil exsisted, and after as when the apple was eaten and evil exsisted.
